No planes, no trains, no automobiles
April 20th 2010, we left Brighton for a 3 and a half month cycle tour round Europe on a tandem - starting in Dieppe, France and heading north through Belgium, Holland and into Germany, with a few days off in Berlin. Then over to Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, down through Hungary and Slovenia and into Croatia. From there we headed into Italy and crossed the Alps into southern France, cycling through Provence and along the Canal du Midi towards the west of the country. Our final stretch of the tour took us north through Bordeaux and the Dordogne to the Loire, before we crossed the Loire into northern France and back to Dieppe. We covered a total of 4,450 miles (7,160 km) and our legs hurt...Flickr Pics of the tour
